JURY LISTS.
Case No. 281:-THOMAS SPENCER FORSAITH, of
Kaipara, claimant.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the List of all
persons residing in the town of Auckland,
liable to serve on Juries, having been made out,
copies will be posted at the Police Office; the
School-house; and Government Store.

  1. Four hundred acres, more or less, situated
    on the Wairoa River, district of Kaipara, bounded
    on one side by a creek called Kaihu, and on the
    other by a range of hills called Puke Aunga.
    Alleged to have been purchased from the native
    chiefs Tirarau, Pakia, in the month of May, 1839.
    Consideration in goods and money to the
    amount of £110.

All persons desirous of inspecting the original
list can do so, without fee, for fourteen days after
this notice, by applying to me at the Police Office,
Auckland, between the hours of Eleven and Twelve
in the forenoon.

Case No. 281 (a). -THOMAS SPENCER FORSAITH,
of Kaipara, claimant.

  1. Three hundred and fifty acres, more or
    less, situated on the Wairoa River, district of Kai-
    para, known by the name of Te Warau.
    Alleged to have been purchased from the native
    chief Parore, in the month of April, 1839.
    Consideration-cash to the amount of £40,
    and merchandise to the amount of £10.

Case No. 281 (b). -THOMAS SPENCER FORSAITH,
of Kaipara, claimant.

  1. Two thousand acres, more or less, si-
    tuated at the junction of the River Otamatea and
    Oropara, and known by the name of Kokoraka.
    Alleged to have been purchased from the na-
    tive chief, William Stephenson, in the month
    of November, 1839.
    Consideration-cash and merchandise to the
    amount of £400.

AUCKLAND COURT OF REQUESTS.

Case No. 282.- WILLIAM CORNWALLIS SYMONDS,
of Auckland, on behalf of the trustees of the
Manakau New Zealand Land Company,
claimant.

THE COMMISSIONER hereby notifies that
the first Court of Requests, for the District
of Auckland, will be holden at the School House,
on Tuesday the Seventh day of September next,
at Ten o'clock in the forenoon, and on following
days at the same hour and place.

A portion of land (extent not stated,) on the
River Manakau, bounded on the west by the
sea, on the east by a line running N. E. from a
portion of land known by the name of Otahuhu,
until it reaches the River Waitemata, and to fol-
low that river up to its source, and thence by
a line due west to the sea, and on the front and
south by the before-named River Manakau.

Forms of proceedings in this Court may be
obtained, together with all necessary information,
at the office of C. B. Brewer, Esq. Registrar.

Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chiefs Kau Wau, Kauwae, Tinana, and Ta-
maki, on the 11th January, 1836.
Consideration-a quantity of merchandise, va-
lue not stated.
Nature of conveyance-deed dated January 11,
1836.

Case No. 283.-FELTON MATHEW and GEORGE
COOPER, of Auckland, claimants.

SALE OF GOVERNMENT STORES.

10,000. Ten thousand acres more or less, sis-
tuated on the River Piako, having a frontage on
the river of one mile on either side of the mouth
of a creek called Tahuna Tapu. Bounded on the
east by the River Piako two miles, on the north
by a line west to the dividing range between the
Piako and the Waikato, on the west by that
range two miles, and on the south by a line east
to the river.

ON THURSDAY, the 2nd of September next,
will be Sold by Public Auction, by Mr. I.
Josten, at his Rooms in Shortland Crescent, the
following Stores, the property of this Government,
which have been ordered to be disposed of:
About 30 tons of Flour, 4 casks of Arrack, a va-
riety of Carpenters' and Shoemakers' Tools,
Pitch and Tar, a few articles of Slop Clothing.

Alleged to have been purchased from certain
native chiefs not mentioned, by William
Webster, of Coromandel Harbour, who sold
to claimants.

Further particulars will be made known on appli-
cation to the Auctioneer.

Consideration to the natives, not stated.

Case No. 284. -JOHN HALLS, of Auckland,
claimant.

Auckland, 18th August, 1841.

A certain portion of land situated in the Island
of Waihake, and known by the name of Tepihani,

HIS Excellency the GOVERNOR directs it to be
notified that the following claims to Lands
in this colony, have been referred to the Com-
missioners appointed under the Ordinance of the
Governor and Council of New Zealand, 4 Vic-
toria No. 2; being in addition to the claims no-
tified in the Government Gazette of New South
Wales, as referred to the Commissioners appointed
under the act of the Governor and Council of that
colony on the 9th November, 1840, and on the
9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th March, and 6th, 13th,
20th, and 27th April, 1841.

Parties are reminded that before their claims
can be investigated they must pay to the Com-
missioners a Fee of Five Pounds, as prescribed by
the Ordinance.
