The house is situated, and from its proximity to the seat of Government must be considered a desirable one of no fitable description. To a respectable person possession can be given on the 1st of July.

WANTED

WANTED, a married Agricultural Labourer of good character, to rent on clearing lease, or to take charge of an eligible farm of 1000 to 4000 acres, about 30 miles from the Bay of Islands on which the family of the Proprietor may continue to reside.
If a working farmer of reputable character, a small farm may be allotted as part payment, after a period of service, or a portion of the above sold, containing tillage ground and timber found, if required by parties retiring on clearing-lease.
The object of the Proprietor being merely to nurse the property under a respectable occupant for a few years, and to provide a respectable home for his own sons, their families, and of general farming experience, need apply.

WILL be opened on Monday next, July 6.
On Thursday the 9th instant, J. W. intends to have a Public Dinner; Tickets for which may be obtained at Mr. Lunn's and Mr. Spicer's, Kororarika. Dinner will be on the table at six o'clock.
The House consists of two dining-rooms and sleeping apartments, and contains every accommodation necessary to render it a place of desirable sojourn both to strangers visiting this locality and other gentlemen or families who may not wish to enter crowded hotels on private residence.
An assortment of the best wines and other liquors has been laid in, and every attention will be paid to the comfort and convenience of those who may honor this House with their patronage.

BOATS FOR HIRE.
DENNIS McCARTHY, in returning thanks to his numerous friends and patrons in the Bay of Islands, which he does most gratefully, begs to inform them and all others who wish to patronise a tradesman seeking to obtain a livelihood by following his own business, and conducting it with civility, punctuality and security, that he is at all times at their command, having three boats, well manned, kept neatly cleaned, and merely remunerating fares.
Dennis is anxious to assure his friends that he has no other business to occupy him or to prevent his bestowing his attention on his employers, and he hopes that this circumstance will always secure to him that degree of public favor he has so abundantly enjoyed.
