NOTICE TO AUCTIONEERS.
HIS EXCELLENCY THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR directs it to be notified, that from and after the date hereof, the provisions of the Act of the Governor and Council of New South Wales, 9 Geo. IV., No. 13, intituled, "An Act to regulate the Licensing of Auctioneers and the Collection of Duties on Property Sold by Auction," will be strictly enforced.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until Noon of Thursday the 3rd December, for the conveyance of six Officers, three Sergeants, and 48 Rank and File to Auckland, River Thames; also, 2 horses, with the Baggage of the Officers and Boats, Commissariat and Ordnance Stores, amounting to about 120 tons, more or less. The whole to be landed above high water mark at Auckland.

Parties tendering are requested to attend at this Office on the day appointed for opening the Tenders, when further particulars may be obtained.

Turner, next door to the New Zealand Bank, and trusts, that constant attention to the duties of his Profession may merit a continuance of that support he has hitherto experienced.
