Now, therefore, I, the said Henry Charles Lawlor, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Southern Division, do hereby, in pursuance of the said Writ, give notice that a Public Meeting of the Electors of the Southern Division will be holden at the Court House, Onehunga, on the 1st day of September next, at noon, for the purpose of nominating two Members to serve in the Provincial Council for the said Southern Division, and in the event of a Poll being demanded for the Candidates, or any of them, such Polling shall take place on the 2nd day of September next, at such Court House aforesaid, the voting to commence at any time after nine o'clock of the said day, and to close at four in the afternoon of the same day.

to Wit.
WHEREAS a Writ under the hand of Lieutenant-Colonel ROBERT HENRY WYNYARD, Companion of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of New Ulster, &c., &c., &c., bearing date the sixth day of July, one thousand, eight hundred and fifty-two, hath been directed to me, Henry Charles Lawlor, Esq., as Returning Officer for the Pensioner Settlements, requiring and commanding me to cause to be elected by and from amongst the Electors duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently, and in manner and form by law prescribed, one person to serve in the Provincial Council for the Pensioner Settlements : Now, therefore, I, the said Henry Charles Lawlor, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Pensioner Settlements, do hereby, in pursuance of the said recited Writ, give notice that a Public Meeting of the Electors of the Pensioner Settlements will be holden at the Court House, Onehunga, on the 1st day of September next, at Noon, for the purpose of nominating one member to serve in the Provincial Council for the said Pensioner Settlements, and in the event of a Poll being demanded for the Candidates, or any of them, such Polling shall take place on the 2nd day of September next, at such Court House aforesaid, the voting to commence at any time after nine o'clock of the said day, and to close at four in the afternoon of the same day.
