elected by and from amongst the Electors duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently and in manner and form by Law prescribed, one Person to serve in the Provincial Council for the Suburbs of Auckland: Now, therefore, I, the said Thomas Beckham, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Suburbs of Auckland, do hereby, in pursuance of the said recited Writ, give Notice that a Public Meeting of the Electors of the Suburbs of Auckland, will be holden in the Market Place, Shortland-street, Auckland, on the 30th day of August next, at Noon, for the purpose of Nominating one Member to serve in the Provincial Council for the Suburbs of Auckland, and in the event of a Poll being demanded for the Candidates, or any of them, such Polling shall take place on the 31st day of August, at such Market Place aforesaid, the voting to commence at any time after nine o'clock of the said day, and to close at four o'clock in the afternoon of the same day.

WHEREAS a Writ under the hand of Lieutenant-Colonel ROBERT HENRY WYNYARD, Companion of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of New Ulster, &c., &c., &c., bearing date the sixth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-two, hath been directed to me, Thomas Beckham, Esquire, as Returning Officer for the Northern Division, requiring and commanding me to cause to be elected by and from amongst the Electors duly qualified for that purpose, freely and indifferently and in manner and form by Law prescribed, two Persons to serve in the Provincial Council for the Northern Division: Now, therefore, I, the said Thomas Beckham, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Northern Division, do hereby, in pursuance of the said recited Writ, give notice that a Public Meeting of the Electors of the Northern Division will be holden in the Market Place, Shortland-street, Auckland, on the 30th day of August next, at Noon, for the purpose of Nominating two Members to serve in the Provincial Council, for the said Northern Division; and in the event of a Poll being demanded for the said Candidates, or any of them, such Polling shall take place on the 31st day of August next, at such Market Place aforesaid, the voting to commence at any time after nine o'clock of the said day, and to close at four in the afternoon of the same day.
