NOTICE.
THE Public are hereby informed that Mails will be despatched from Auckland to the neighbouring Pensioners’ Settlements on every Wednesday and Saturday—the first mail to leave this office on Saturday the 23rd instant.
Pre-paid Letters must be posted on the days preceding the above. Unpaid Letters and Newspapers may be put into the box before 9 o’clock, a.m., of the above-named days. The rate chargeable for a letter or parcel will be two-pence for every ounce or fraction of an ounce. Newspapers free.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned condemned Goods, will be sold by Public Auction, at Rich’s Bonded Warehouse, on Wednesday, the 3rd January, 1849, at One o’clock, p.m.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership hitherto existing between Richard Reynolds and Douglas Noble, Grocers, &c., High-street, under the name of “Reynolds and Noble,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
All debts owing to the late firm are hereby requested to be paid to the said Richard Reynolds, by whom all debts owing by the late firm will be liquidated.

ALL persons who apply to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for Depasturing Licenses within the boundaries of proclaimed Hundreds are requested to call at the Colonial Treasury three or four days after the date of such applications, in order to obtain their several Licenses, which will be issued to them upon payment of a fee of 10s. 6d. for each License.

THE Commissioner of Crown Lands notifies, for the information of all persons depasturing stock on the Waste Lands of the Crown, within the boundaries of Proclaimed Hundreds, that the Government does not require from them the payment of any Assessment upon Stock so depastured.
None, however, but holders of Depasturing Licenses will be permitted to feed any Stock on the lands above referred to, and all persons desirous of so doing, during 1849, are especially requested to bear in mind, that such Licenses must be taken out by them before the 1st of January next, in accordance with the terms of the GAZETTE Notice, from this Office, dated 10th November, 1848.
