Wellington, 12th May, 1852.

HIS EXCELLENCY the Governor directs it to be notified, that the following Schedule of Rates estimated, according to the provisions of the 8th and 9th clauses of the “Ordinance to authorize and regulate the Impounding of Cattle,” Session VIII., no 6, at a Special Meeting of the Magistrates of the District of Whanganui, have been allowed and confirmed.

SCHEDULE OF RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR TRESPASS OF CATTLE IN THE TOWN OF PETRE.

Description of Cattle, &c. Trespassing. In any paddock of grass after grass, or stubble, enclosed by a fence. In any garden, uncut meadow, growing crop of any kind, enclosed by a fence.
