PROCLAMATION.
By His Excellency Sir George Grey, a Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Islands of New Zealand, and Governor of the Provinces of New Ulster and New Munster, and Vice Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.
WHEREAS the undermentioned Ordinances enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of New Munster, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof were passed in the thirteenth year of the Reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, viz. No. 2, 1849, "An Ordinance to define the qualifications and to provide for the remuneration in certain cases of Medical Practitioners," and No. 4 of 1849, "An Ordinance to prevent the extension of the infectious disease called the Scab, as well as the disease called the Influenza or Catarrh in Sheep or Lambs," Which Ordinances having been by the Right Honorable Earl Grey one of Her Majesty's Principal Secretaries of State laid before the Queen, Her Majesty has been graciously pleased to confirm and allow the same. Now, therefore, I the Governor-in-Chief of New Zealand do hereby proclaim and make known to all whom it may concern that Her Majesty has been graciously pleased to confirm and allow the before mentioned Ordinances.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Islands of New Zealand at Government House at Wellington in the Province of New Munster in the Islands aforesaid this eighth day of November in the Year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Justices of the Peace for this District, will be held at this Court, on Tuesday, the 3rd day of December next, at 12 o'clock, for the purpose of taking into consideration applications for the transfer of Publicans' Licenses.
