NOTICE.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, 20th December, 1849.

APPLICATIONS will be received at this Office until the 18th January next, from persons desirous of obtaining the command of the Government Schooner now nearly ready. Testimonials of competency should be enclosed.

The pay attached to the appointment is £100 per annum—without provisions.
