From 1st to 31st July 8 15 13 20 By reference to the corresponding Quarter of 1848, I find there is but little difference in either the direction or duration of wind, and precisely the same number of days rain. The shocks of earthquake now felt are comparatively slight, and apparently not of more frequent occurrence than previous to the severe convulsion of October last year.
