PROCLAMATION.

By His Excellency Edward John Eyre, Esquire, Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of New Munster, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c., &c., &c.

WHEREAS the undermentioned Ordinances, enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of New Munster, in the Islands of New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, which were reserved in the twelfth and thirteenth years of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, have now received Her Majesty's gracious confirmation, and the same powers as are conferred on the Officer administering the Government of the colony for the time being: (16th July, 1849.)

No. 6. An Ordinance to confer upon the Lieutenant-Governor of New Munster, within the Province, the same powers in certain cases as are conferred on the Officer administering the Government of the colony for the time being. (16th July, 1849.)


No. 5. An Ordinance to provide a cheap and expeditious mode of erecting parish churches occupying land or premises within the Province of New Munster without right, title, or license. (16th June, 1849.)

No. 7. An Ordinance to authorize the levying and collecting of Rates for the making and repairing of Roads, Streets, &c., in any town in the Province of New Munster. (16th June, 1849.)

No. 8. An Ordinance to appropriate the Revenue for the year one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine-fifty. (22nd June, 1849.)

No. 9. An Ordinance to increase the efficiency of the Constabulary Force. (22nd June, 1849.)

No. 10. An Ordinance to authorize the levying and collection of Tolls on Roads, and of Rates on Land, in the Province of New Munster. (22nd June, 1849.)
