appointed

of Nelson, a member of the Committee of Manage-
ment of the Nelson Hospital, vice Captain Rough,
resigned.

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be
notified that it is intended after the expiration
of two months from the date hereof to grant Leases
for Gold-mining Purposes of the Crown Lands within
the District of the Nelson South-west Goldfields,
hereinafter described, viz :β€”

INANGAHUA DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land containing six acres three
    roods thirty-nine perches, more or less,
    situated south of Prospector\'s Claim, Rainy
    Creek. Applied for by Patrick Gallina.
    No. 770.

  2. A block of land containing sixteen acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated at the
    head of German Jack\'s Gully, Murray
    Creek Reefs. Applied for by John Trennery
    for the Venus Quartz-mining Company,
    Registered. No. 771.

  3. A block of land containing sixteen acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated at the
    Murray Creek Reefs. Applied for by L.
    Davies for the Sir Julius Vogel Quartz-
    mining Company, Limited. No. 762.

  4. A block of land containing three acres
    three roods twelve perches, more or less,
    situated on the Merrigig Creek, Little Grey.
    Applied for by Bernard M\'Geehin and

  5. A block of land containing sixteen acres,
    more or less, situated at Rainy Creek.

    one rood twenty perches, more or less,
    situated at the Old Diggings, on the north
    side of the Buller river. Applied for by

  2. A block of land containing nine acres one
    rood fourteen perches, more or less,
    situated at the Old Diggings, on the north
    side of the Buller river. Applied for by

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned
Lease, which has been forfeited through non-
payment of Rent, will, in accordance with the provi-
sions of "The Nelson Waste Lands Act, 1874," be
offered at auction at the Survey Office, Ahaura, on
Tuesday, March, 28, 1876, at twelve o\'clock noon.
