And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road, 100 links in width, colored green on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road (now in use) crossing the Wakarewa stream, being on Section 250, Square 3.

Estimated cost—Exchange of the stopped up road for the new road.

No. 9.—To stop up a road in the Lower Moutere Sub-District, colored red on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road commencing at the Lower Moutere Bridge, and running along the right hand bank of the Moutere River for a distance of about 42 chains in a westerly direction, and thence about 22 chains in a southerly direction, being along the northern boundary of Sections 1 and 3, Square 3, and partly along the boundary of Section to a point where a road has been closed,

And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road, links in width, colored green on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road (now in use) commencing about 10 chains south of the Lower Moutere Bridge, and running in a westerly direction partly across Section 1 for a distance of about 8 chains, thence in a south-westerly direction for a distance of about 6 chains, and thence in a westerly direction for a distance of about 14 chains to the division line between Sections 3 and 5 to a point about 19 chains from the north west corner of Section 3.

Estimated cost—Exchange of part of the stopped up road for the new road.

No. 10.—To take a road 60 links in width, colored green on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road (now in use) commencing north-east corner of Section 1, Square 3, on the right bank of the Moutere River, and running along the said bank in a north-easterly direction for a distance of about 35 chains, being along the boundary of Sections 201 and 202, thence in a southerly direction for a distance of about 11 chains, thence in an easterly direction along the top of high water mark for a distance of about 29 chains.

No. 11.—To stop up a road in the Lower Moutere Sub-district, colored red on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road commencing at the north-west corner of Section 115, Square 3, and running in a south-easterly direction for a distance of about two chains,

And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road, sixty links in width, colored green on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road (now in use) commencing at the north-west corner of Section 115, and running in a southerly direction for a distance of about 5 chains, thence in an easterly direction for a distance of about 1 chain, thence in a northerly direction for about 3 chains.

No. 12.—To stop up a road in the Upper Moutere Sub-District, colored red on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road commencing about 13 chains north-west of the north-east corner of Section 37b, Square 3, and running in a south-easterly direction for a distance of about 13 chains; and then commencing about 3 chains north-east corner of Section 37a, and running in a south-easterly direction for a distance of about 7 chains.

And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road 60 links in width, colored green on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road now in use commencing about 13 chains north-west of the north-east corner of Section 37b, and running in a southerly direction for a distance of about 11 chains, thence in an easterly direction for about 4 chains, thence in a south-easterly direction for about 8 chains, and thence in an easterly direction for about 2 chains.

No. 13.—To stop up a road in Upper Moutere Sub-District, colored red on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road commencing at a point about 10 chains from the north-west corner of Section 76, Square 2, and running in a north-easterly direction for about 30 chains, and there joining a public road.

And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road, 60 links in width, colored green on the plan attached to this notification, and described as follows, viz.:—

That portion of a road (now in use) commencing at a point on the south-west boundary of Section 76, being 37 chains from the north-west corner, and running in a north-easterly direction to a point 12 chains east of the same corner.
