the SUPERINTENDENT has directed that the Gold-
mining Lease hereinafter described be cancelled,
viz :β€”

BULLER DISTRICT.

Lease No 170 B, dated 1st October 1873. Area,
four acres two roods and thirty-one perches,
more or less, situated at Waite\'s Pakihi,
granted to John Hussey and others.

INANGAHUA DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land containing nine acres, three
    roods, and twenty-five perches, more or less,
    comprising Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, south of
    Anderson\'s, Murray Creek, granted on the
    1st October, 1872, to Robert Craig and
    others, for the Invicible Goldmining Com-
    pany, Registered.

District having neglected, on the day appointed
for that purpose, to elect a Local Committee of
Education for that District, the SUPERINTENDENT has,
in accordance with the provisions of the 10th Section
of "The Education Act, 1863," appointed

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that
it is intended, after the expiration of two months
from the date hereof, to grant leases for Gold-mining
purposes of the Crown Lands, within the District of
the South-West Goldfields hereinafter described,
viz :β€”

CHARLESTON DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land, containing three acres, one
    rood, and sixteen perches, more or less,
    situated at Belfast Terrace, Brighton.
    Applied for by Daniel Gregory and another.
    No. 172 C.
  2. A block of land containing five acres, one
    rood, and twelve perches, more or less,
    situated at the Back Lead, near Charleston.
    Applied for by William Willdson and others.
    No. 169 C.

INANGAHUA DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land, containing sixteen acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated at Murray
    Creek. Applied for by Mathew Byrne for
    the Perseverance Company. No. 743.
  2. A block of land containing thirteen acres,
    three roods, and thirty-two perches, more
    or less, situated at Boatman\'s Creek. Ap-
    plied for James Wilson. No. 744.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with
the provisions of the 12th section of "The
Nelson Waste Lands Act, 1874," the block of land
at West Wanganui, containing Fifty acres, and
notified in the Nelson Government Gazette of the 11th
April, 1857, as reserved for a village site, will be
otherwise disposed of.
