SPECIAL ORDER TO STRIKE SPECIAL RATE FOR RIVER PROTECTION.
SPECIAL order made this 5th day of June, 1874, at a meeting of the Inangahua Local Revenues Board, held in the Court-house, Reefton.
Proposed by Mr. FRANKLYN, and seconded by Mr. RAMSAY—That a special order be made to strike a special rate for the Protection of the River Bank; the same to be collected from all those whose property is situated in such portions of the Town as may be benefitted by such protective works. The rate to be 1s. on the annual value of such property. Carried.

SPECIAL ORDER DEFINING LIMITS OF AREA OVER WHICH SPECIAL RATE TO APPLY.
SPECIAL order made this 28th August, 1874, at a meeting of the Inangahua Local Revenues Board, to define area over which special rate to be levied.
Proposed by Mr. FRANKLYN, and seconded by Mr. RAMSAY—That the special rate should be levied over all that portion of Reefton, included within High Flood mark, as marked and shown on the official map of Reefton as Flood mark, 1872, comprising all the sections numbered 1 to 68, Strand; all those sections numbered 69 to 83 and 91 to 133 south side of Broadway; 134 to 194 north side, Broadway; 256 to 309 south side Shiel-street; 310 to 358 north side Shiel-street; 396 to 534 South side of Church-street. Carried.
