IT is hereby notified for general information that a Writ issued for the Election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Inangahua District, has been returned with a certificate to the effect that
JOSEPH IVESS,
of Reefton, householder, has been duly elected.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of Two Months from the date hereof, to Grant Leases for Gold-mining purposes, of the Crown Lands within the District of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.:β€”

INANGAHUA DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land containing five acres one rood and twenty-three perches, more or less, being the Prospector's claim, Larry's Creek. Applied for by the Caledonian Company.

  2. A block of land containing nine acres, more or less, situated on Adam Smith's line of reef, Murray Creek. Applied for by Thomas Barker and others.

  3. A block of land containing sixteen acres and two roods, more or less, situated on Anderson's line of reef, Murray Creek. Applied for by James Friel and others.

  4. A block of land containing five acres and two roods, more or less, situated at Larry's Creek. Applied for by Robert Tapley and others.

  5. A block of land containing three acres three roods and twenty perches, more or less, situated south-east of Adam Smith's line of reef, Murray Creek. Applied for by William Collins and others.
