East; thence along the Southern side of that
road Eastward and the line of it produced to
the Eastern boundary of the Waimen district;
thence Northward along the said district
boundary to the Town boundary aforesaid.

  1. WAIMEA EAST.

The Northern boundary is the Southern boundary
of the Stoke sub-district; from the south-
western angle of which district the boundary
continues along the edge of the mudflat to the
river Waimea; Wairoa, and Lee to the Western
boundary of the Waimea district; thence by
the said Western boundary Northward to the
Stoke boundary.

  1. SPRING GROVE.

Bounded on the North by the Southern boundary
of Waimea East sub-district, to the junction
of the Wairoa and Wai-iti rivers; then South-
ward by the bank of the Wai-iti river to the
road, between sections 71 and 80 Waimea
South; thence in a North-westerly direction
by a straight line to the north-west angle of
section 208; thence in a straight line to the
north-west angle of section 1 of 3, square 2;
thence between sections 17 and 1 of 3 to the
north-west angle of section 67; thence along
the Northern boundary of the said section 67
and the said line of boundary to the Pitfure
road; thence Eastward along the south side
of the said road to the Eastern boundary of
the Waimea district; thence along the said
Eastern boundary to the Spring Grove dis-
trict boundary.

  1. WAKEFIELD.

The Northern boundary is the Southern boundary
of the Spring Grove district, extending
Westward to the north-western corner of
section 67, square 2; thence by a straight
line to a point on the Western boundary of
the district, 40 chains south of its intersection
by the Stanley Brook road; thence by the
Waimea district boundary Southward, East-
ward, and Northward to the south-east angle
of the Spring Grove sub-district.

  1. WAIMEA WEST.

Commencing near the mouth of the Waimea river,
at the north-east angle of section X; thence

along the banks of the Waimea and Wai-iti
rivers to the road between 71 and 80 Waimea
South; thence Eastward along the boundary
of Wakefield sub-district to its north-west
angle; thence northward by a straight line to
the south-east corner of section 188, square 2;
thence northward along the eastern boundary
of the said section to the Waimen district
boundary; thence by the district boundary to
the mouth of the Waimea river.

  1. DOVEDALE.

Commencing at the north-western corner of section
67, square 2; thence Westward by the
boundary of the Wakefield sub-district to
the Western boundary of the Waimea district;
thence Westward, Northward, and Eastward
by the Waimea district boundary to the
boundary of Waimea west sub-district; thence
along that boundary to the north-west corner
of section 67 aforesaid.

And each such sub-district shall elect one member
of the Board for the District.

Eleventh day of June, in the year of our Lord
One thousand eight hundred and seventy-

NELSON CITY LOAN FOR GAS AND
WATERWORKS.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until
Noon on Tuesday the 17th instant, for DEBEN-
TURES with coupons attached, for the amount of Four
thousand eight hundred pounds. Each debenture shall
be for the sum of One hundred pounds bearing Six
per cent interest.

Further particulars can be obtained on application
at this Office.
