THE GOVERNMENT WHARF and WAREHOUSES thereon, will be Let by Auction, on Saturday, the 23rd instant, at Twelve o'clock, Noon, at the Land Office, Nelson.

Conditions of Lease, &c., can be seen at this Office.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned Goldmining Lease has been Surrendered, viz.:

Lease dated 1st July, 1870, to William Meates, Manager of "Who'd have Thought it Gold-Sluicing Company, Registered," of six acres, Grey District. (No. 17, G.)

NELSON CITY LOAN FOR GAS AND WATERWORKS.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until MONDAY, the 15th day of April, 1872, for DEBENTURES, with Coupons attached, to the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS, to be issued under the authority of the "Nelson City Loan Act, 1871."

Each Debenture will be for the sum of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS, bearing SIX PER CENT. interest, and will be issued in the form, and subject in all respects to the conditions as to security and payment of interest, provided in the above-mentioned Act.

The Debentures will be made Payable in THIRTY YEARS from the date of issue, with interest at the above-mentioned rate, payable half-yearly at this Office.

Tenders may be made for one or more Debentures, and must be forwarded under cover, addressed to the PROVINCIAL TREASURER, Nelson, and marked "Tender for Debentures."

The highest or any Tender not necessarily accepted.
