I, The Undersigned, WILLIAM MCLEAN, hereby make application to register the WESTLAND QUARTZ-CRUSHING COMPANY under the provisions of the Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865; and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely:—

1. The name and style of the Company is Westland Quartz-crushing Company, Registered.

2. The place of operations is at Coal Point, Murray Creek, in the Province of Nelson.

3. The nominal capital of the Company is £19,500 in 6500 shares of £3 each.

4. The amount already paid up is £16,500, con-sisting of work done in and about claim, and machinery and value of claim, amounting to the sum of £13,500, and the further sum of £3000 for machinery but which is not to the property of the Company until contractors are paid for same at the rate of 50 per cent of gold taken from claim less the working expenses of machinery.
