IT is hereby notified that the following Agricultural
Lease is declared forfeited, viz :—

BULLER DISTRICT.
Lease dated July 1, 1870, to N. C. H. Nogens,
now held by Thomas J. Jones, of section 6,
square 140.

square 137.
Lease dated January 1, 1868, William Taylor,
section 9, square 137.

above-named Company, payable on and after 25th
November, 1872.

The Nelson Provincial Council Buildings (depicted) were constructed beginning with the laying of the foundation stone on 26 August 1859, with the first Council meeting held there on 30 April 1861.

The buildings served Nelson for over a century before being demolished on 12 September 1969.
