IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof,
to Grant a Lease for goldmining purposes of the
Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-
west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.—
A block of land containing seven acres, more or
less, situated at Shamrock Lead, Addison's
Flat, Buller District, applied for by James
M'Gavin.

Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.—
A block of land containing fourteen acres and
two roods, more or less, situated at Bedstead
Gully, being the block formerly held under
lease by W. R. Turner, (Canterbury Com-
pany) applied for by the Perseverance Com-
pany.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the
provisions of the Goldmining Lease Regula-
tions, that the undermentioned Goldmining Lease is
declared forfeited, viz.—
Lease dated April 1, 1872, to G. W. W. Light-
band, of five acres, situated near Appo's
Creek, Collingwood.

I, THE UNDERSIGNED PATRICK BRENNAN, hereby
make application to register the GOLDEN
FLEECE GOLDMINING COMPANY, REGISTERED, under
the provisions of the "Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act 1865, and the Mining Companies Limited
Liability Acts Amendment Acts 1869, 1870, and
1871; and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that
the following statement is, to the best of my belief and
knowledge, true in every particular, namely :—
- The name and style of the Company is the
Golden Fleece Goldmining Company, Regis-
tered. - The place of intended operations is No. 1
North on Shiel's line of reef, (known as
Paddy Hunt's claim), near Murray Creek,
in the Province of Nelson. - The nominal Capital of the Company is
Twenty-four thousand pounds in twenty-
thousand shares of one pound each. - The amount already paid up in cash is nil; in
paid-up shares given to shareholders is fifteen
thousand pounds, being the estimated value
of claim, and work done thereon. - The name of the Manager is Patrick Brennan.
- The office of the Company is at Reefton, in
the Province of Nelson. - The names and several residences of the
shareholders, and the number of shares held
by each at this date, are as follows :—
