I, THE undersigned, FRANK MATHIAS, hereby make application to Register the NEWINGTON GOLDMINING COMPANY, registered, under the provisions of the Mining Companies Limited Liability Acts, 1865, and the Mining Companies Limited Liability Acts Amendment Acts, 1869, 1870, and 1871, and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely :—

  1. The name and style of the Company is the Newington Goldmining Company, Registered.

  2. The place of intended operations is at Anderson's line of Reef, and North North East of, and adjoining to, the claim held by the Anderson's Creek Goldmining Company, Registered, Inangahua, Province of Nelson, Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal Capital of the Company is Fifteen thousand pounds, in seven thousand five hundred shares of two pounds each

  4. The amount already paid up in cash is nil, but one thousand five hundred shares at present unallotted shall be distinguished as shares fully paid up, and the remaining six thousand shares as paid up to the extent of one pound on each share.

  5. The name of the Manager is Frank Mathias

  6. The office of the Company is at the office of Frank Mathias, situate in the Broadway, in Reefton, in the Province of Nelson, New Zealand.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows :—
