I, ROBERT TAPLEY, hereby make application to the LARRY'S CREEK GOLDMINING COMPANY, REGISTERED, under the provisions of the Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865, and the Mining Companies Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts, 1869, 1870, and 1871; and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely:—

The name and style of the Company is the Larry's Creek Goldmining Company Registered.
The place of intended operations is at Larry's Creek, Inangahua, in the Province of Nelson.
The nominal capital of the Company is ten thousand pounds in ten thousand shares of one pound each.
The amount already paid up is one hundred and fifty pounds.
The name of the manager is Robert Tapley.
The office of the Company is at Reefton, in the Province of Nelson.
The names and several residences of the shareholders and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follows:—

The Nelson Provincial Council Buildings (depicted) were constructed beginning with the laying of the foundation stone on 26 August 1859, with the first Council meeting held there on 30 April 1861.

The buildings served Nelson for over a century before being demolished on 12 September 1969.
