IT is hereby notified for general information that
the following Gold-mining Leases have been
declared Forfeited by the Superintendent, namely :—

  1. Lease dated 1st April, 1872, to Andrew Nel-
    son, of seven acres at Caledonian Terrace,
    Buller District.

  2. Lease dated 1st April, 1872, to John M'Intyre,
    of five acres at Giles' Terrace, Buller
    District.

ALL applications for Publicans' Bush Licenses, and
for Renewal or Transfer of such Licenses, must
be lodged at this Office, on or before WEDNESDAY,
the 19th instant.

TENDERS will be received at this Office, until
WEDNESDAY, the 19th instant, from persons
desirous of Contracting to supply Firewood, at per
cord, and Coal, at per ton, to the several Government
Offices, Lunatic Asylum, Hospital, Gaol, Lock-up, and
Destitute Poor, for the Six Months ending 31st
December next.

TENDERS will be received at this Office, until
WEDNESDAY, the 19th instant, from persons
desirous of Contracting to Supply the undermentioned
Articles, for the Six Months ending the 31st December
next, to the Lunatic Asylum, Gaol, Lock-up, and
Destitute Poor, namely :—

1.—Mutton and Beef, fresh and free
from bone, and of best quality at per lb.
Suet . . . . . . . . . . "
2.—Bread, best . . . . . . . . "
Ditto, of Wheaten Meal . . . . "
Flour, fine . . . . . . . . "
Ditto, ditto . . . . . . . . "
3.—Milk . . . . . . . . . . at per cwt.
4.—Spirits, Wines, Bottled Ale and Porter, and
Colonial Ale. . . . . . . . per quart.
5.—Groceries, as per list, to be seen at this
Office.

Samples will be required to be left at the Office
with the Tenders.

Articles to be delivered as required, at the Lunatic
Asylum, Gaol, and Asylum for Poor.

Separate Tenders will be received as numbered.

Further particulars may be obtained on application
at this Office.
