April 24, 1872.

OFFICERS in the Service of the Nelson Provincial Government on the Nelson Goldfields are hereby informed that SPECULATING in Claims, Business Sites, Leases, or other Goldmining interests within the boundaries of those Goldfields is strictly prohibited; and any Officer infringing this rule after this date will not be retained in the Service.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended after the expiration of two months from the date hereof to grant a Lease for Goldmining purposes of the Crown Land within the district of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz :β€”

A block of land containing nine acres and three roods, more or less, situated at the North Beach, Grey district, applied for by John Cooper. (No. 64, G).
