THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified, for general information, that
ARTHUR DUDLEY DOBSON
has been appointed Chief Surveyor for the Province of Nelson, vice HENRY LEWIS, resigned.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of Two Months from the date hereof, to grant Leases for Gold-Mining Purposes of the Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz :β

A Block of Land, containing Five Acres, more or less, situated at Rochfort Terrace, Buller District. Applied for by JOHN M'INTYRE.

A Block of Land, containing Seven Acres, more or less, situated at Shamrock Lead, Buller District. Applied for by J. G. WILSON.

A Block of Land, containing Seven Acres, more or less, situated at Caledonian Terrace, Buller District. Applied for by ANDREW NELSON.
