IT is hereby notified for general information that a
Writ issued for the Election of a Member of the
Provincial Council for the District of Suburban
North has been returned, with a certificate to the
effect that

WILLIAM WASTNEY,
of Suburban North, Freeholder, has been duly
elected.

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified
that the Justices Order, dated the 23rd
August, 1871, granting the alteration of a certain
Road in the City of Nelson, as described in the
application of H. C. DANIELL, Commissioner of
Crown Lands, and HENRY LEWIS, Chief Surveyor,
published in the Nelson Government Gazette, No.
20, of the 20th July, 1871, has been confirmed by the
Superintendent and Executive Council.

refused to grant a Gold-Mining Lease applied
for by CHARLES FLANNERY for the Block of Land
hereinafter described, viz :β€”

A Block of Land, containing Ten Acres, more or
less, situated at Christmas Terrace, Buller
District.
