THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified, that the VOTERS of the District of MOTUPIKO having neglected or omitted to Elect PERSONS to Fill up the VACANCIES in the LOCAL COMMITTEE OF EDUCATION for that District, he has, in accordance with the Provisions of Section 10 of "The Education Act, 1863," appointed

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified, that, in accordance with the Provisions of Section 9 of "The Education Act, 1863," he has appointed SATURDAY, the 8th July next, at Twelve o'clock, Noon, for the ELECTION of TWO PERSONS to fill the VACANCIES in the LOCAL COMMITTEE OF EDUCATION for the District of WAIMEA WEST, and that the Election shall be held at the Village School-house, Waimea West.

IT is hereby notified, that it is intended, after the expiration of Two Months from the date hereof, to grant a Lease for Gold-Mining Purposes of the Crown Land within the District of the Nelson Southwest Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.:β
A Block of Land, containing Six Acres, more or less, situated at Sullivan's Creek, Ahaura, Grey District. Applied for by DUNCAN M'DONALD.
