PROCLAMATION.
By his Honor OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c., &c., &c.
WHEREAS, by "The Protection of Animals Act, 1867," it is provided that no Game shall be Hunted, Shot, Taken, or Killed in any part of the Colony until the same shall have been proclaimed as open for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in exercise of the power and authority in me vested in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Districts of Riwaka, Motueka, Pangatotara, Upper and Lower Motuere, as constituted under the authority of the Education Act, shall be open for the purpose of Shooting Pheasants during the month of July next, by persons duly licensed under the above recited Act.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Nelson, this Seventh day of June, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.
