THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that he has appointed
ARTHUR DUDLEY DOBSON, ESQUIRE,
Provincial Engineer of the Province of Nelson.

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that he has appointed
ALBERT DUNCAN AUSTIN, and
WILLIAM DARBY, JUNIOR,
Mining Surveyors for the Province of Nelson.

Nelson, 16th May, 1871.

IT is hereby notified, that it is intended, after the expiration of Two Months from the date hereof, to Grant Leases for Gold-Mining Purposes of the Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.:β€”

  1. A Block of Land, containing Three Acres Three Roods and Ten Perches, more or less, situated at Charleston. Applied for by ISAAC SCOTT and others.

  2. A Block of Land, containing Three Acres Three Roods and Thirty Perches, more or less, situated at Charleston. Applied for by JOHN WARREN.

  3. A Block of Land, containing Five Acres Three Roods and Ten Perches, more or less, situated at Charleston. Applied for by ALEXANDER THOMPSON and others.

  4. A Block of Land, containing Ten Acres, more or less, situated at Charleston. Applied for by J. KIRKPATRICK and others.

A Block of Land, containing Nine Acres, more or less, situated at Glengyle, Collingwood. Applied for by JOHN ROSS and others.
