NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of Section 17 of the Gold-mining Lease Regulations, that the following Gold-mining Leases are declared forfeited, the Lessees having neglected to execute and take delivery thereof within a reasonable time, in accordance with the said section, viz.:—

  1. Michael Fitzgerald and others: 10 acres at Shamrock Lead, Addison's Flat, Buller District. Published in Gazette No. 24, 1869.
  2. Dominick Gallagher and others: 7 acres at Shamrock Lead, Addison's Flat, Buller District. Published in Gazette No. 31, 1869.
  3. John Clear and others: 7 acres between the Shamrock Lead and the Totara River, Buller District. Published in Gazette No. 31, 1869.
  4. John O'Rourke and others: 7 acres between the Shamrock Lead and the Totara River, Buller District. Published in Gazette No. 31, 1869.
  5. Neil Dougherty and others: 7 acres south end of Shamrock Lead, Addison's Flat, Buller District. Published in Gazette No. 31, 1869.
  6. Robert Barclay: 7 acres, Shamrock Lead, Addison's Flat, Buller District. Published in Gazette No. 32, 1869.

  2. P. K. Watty (Nelson Quartz Gold-mining Company): 16 acres 2 roods and 4 perches, situated at Coles' Creek, Collingwood. Published in Gazette No. 1, 1870.

WHEREAS by Warrants under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, bearing date the twenty-first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy, the Governor has, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, delegated to the Superintendents of the several Provinces in New Zealand certain powers under "The Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," and "The Diseased Cattle Act Amendment, 1865," subject to certain regulations to be made by the Governor in Council :

Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, doth hereby, in pursuance of the powers in that behalf vested in him by the Acts
