Superintendent's Office, Nelson,
15th March, 1870.
IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof, to
grant leases for goldmining purposes of the Crown
land within the district of the Golden Bay Goldfields
hereinafter described, viz.—
-
A block of land containing fourteen acres two
roods and twenty-one perches, situated at Coles
Creek, Collingwood. Applied for by M. M.
Webster and others (Mount Ophir Goldmining
Company). -
A block of land, containing fourteen acres two
roods and thirty perches, situated near Sailor's-
gully, Collingwood. Applied for by Thomas
Adams and others. -
A block of land, containing thirteen acres two
roods and seven perches, situated at Bedstead-
gully, Collingwood. Applied for by Joseph
Scoles and others. -
A block of land, containing sixteen acres two
roods and four perches, situated at Bedstead-
gully, Collingwood. Applied for by J. G. Lash
and others.

Goldfields, hereinafter described:—

A block of land, containing 7 acres, more or less,
situated at Shamrock-lead, Addison's Flat,
Buller district. Applied for by Owen Clark
(Evening Star Goldmining Company). -
A block of land, containing 6 acres 3 roods and
2 perches, more or less, situated at Shamrock-
lead, Addison's Flat, Buller district. Applied
for by Peter Brady (Garry Owen Goldmining
Company). -
A block of land, containing 16 acres 2 roods,
more or less, situated at the Lyell, Buller dis-
trict. Applied for by Antonio Zala (Alpine
Mining Company).

situated at Darkie's-terrace, North Beach, Grey
district. Applied for by Thomas Gunn (Bon
Accord Goldmining Company).

A block of land, containing 7 acres, more or less,
situated at Woodpecker Bay, near Brighton.
Applied for by Daniel M'Cormack (Wool-
pecker Bay Goldmining Company). -
A block of land, containing 7 acres, more or less,
situated at Welshman's-terrace, Brighton. Ap-
plied for by John Thornton and others (Tara
Goldmining Company).

Crown Lands' Office, Nelson,
15th March, 1870.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with
the provisions of the "Nelson Waste Lands Act,
1863," the following blocks of land have been reserved
for purposes of public utility:—
A block of land situated on Reid's-terrace, in the
district of Ahaura, containing about sixty-five
acres. Bounded on the North by the standing
bush; on the East and South-east by the large
swamp; on the South by a gully at the foot of
the said swamp; and on the West by the edge
of the said terrace from the gully to the bush
aforesaid.
A block of land situated in the district of the Wan-
gapeka, containing about eighty acres; being
section No. 33 on square 6 of the plan of the
Province of Nelson. Bounded on the North-
eastward by section numbered 23 on said
square; on the South-eastward by sections Nos.
23 and 31; on the South-westward by section
No. 31; and on the North-westward by the
river Wangapeka.
