IT is hereby notified that I have transferred the protection granted to Samuel John Loring for the Totara Ferry, and published in the Nelson Government Gazette, No. 6, of the 1st March instant, to John Molloy.

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified for general information, that the 9th and 10th clauses of the "Nelson Scab Act, 1868," will be declared in operation in the Amuri district (as proclaimed for the purposes of the Scab Act, in the Nelson Government Gazette, No. 32, of the 27th June, 1868) on and after the 1st day of July next.

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that the Justices' orders, dated respectively the 28th day of January, 1870, granting the alteration of certain roads in the districts of Moutere, Wai-wero, Wai-iti-hills, and Maitai-valley, as described in the application of John Blackett, Provincial Engineer, and Henry Lewis, Surveyor, published in the Nelson Government Gazette, No. 41, of the 10th December, 1869, and numbered respectively therein 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, have been confirmed by the Superintendent and Executive Council.
