IT is hereby notified for general information that, in accordance with the provisions of "The Executive Government Act 1870," I have appointed

GEORGE DONNE, Esquire,
to be a Member of the Executive Council, to represent the interests of the Goldfields, vice ALEXANDER REID, Esquire, resigned.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Superintendent has refused to grant a Goldmining Lease applied for by R. C. REID, on behalf of the Buller Quartz-crushing Company for the land hereinafter described, viz.:β€”

A block of Land, containing sixteen acres two roods, more or less, situated at the Lyell, Buller district.
