NELSON GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

Superintendent's Office, Nelson,
12th September, 1870.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of two months from the date hereof, to grant Leases for Gold-mining purposes of the Crown Land within the district of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.:—

  1. A block of land, containing five acres, more or less, situated beyond Argyle Terrace, Charleston. Applied for by Hugh Boyle and others.

  2. A block of land, containing six acres, more or less, situated at Argyle Terrace, Charleston. Applied for by Thomas Shine and others.

  3. A block of land, containing five acres, more or less, situated on the Brighton and Charleston road. Applied for by James M. M'Donald.

  4. A block of land, containing five acres, more or less, situated at Candlelight Flat, Charleston. Applied for by James Edward Gillespie and others.

  2. A block of land, containing seven acres, more or less, situated at Orwell Creek, Grey district. Applied for by Joseph Baird.

  3. A block of land, containing seven acres, more or less, situated at Orwell Creek, Grey district. Applied for by Henry Evans.

  4. A block of land, containing sixteen acres, more or less, situated at Murray's Creek, north bank of Inangahua, Grey district. Applied for by Adam Smith.
