NELSON GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

Nelson, 29th November, 1869.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of Two Months from the date hereof, to grant Leases for Gold-mining purposes of the Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described viz.:—

  1. A Block of Land containing Three Acres and Twenty-four Perches, more or less, situated at Daylesford Terrace, Brighton, applied for by MICHAEL O'BRIEN.

  2. A Block of Land containing Two Acres Two Roods and Seven Perches, more or less, situated at Four Mile Terrace, Charleston, applied for by MICHAEL FLANNAGAN and others.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended after the expiration of Two Months from the date hereof, to grant Leases for Gold-mining Purposes of the Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz.:—

  1. A Block of Land containing Sixteen Acres and Two Roods, more or less, situated at Moonlight Creek, Grey District, applied for by the "SUNRISE QUARTZ-MINING COMPANY REGISTERED," James Wylde, Manager.

  2. A Block of Land containing Sixteen Acres and Two Roods, more or less, situated at Moonlight Creek, Grey District, applied for by the "BAND OF HOPE QUARTZ-MINING COMPANY REGISTERED," William Perkins, Manager.

  3. A Block of Land containing Sixteen Acres and Two Roods, more or less, situated at Langdon's Creek, Grey District, applied for by the "COAL GORGE QUARTZ-MINING COMPANY REGISTERED," James Wylde, Manager.

  4. A Block of Land containing Ten Acres, more or less, situated on the Seven Mile Beach, Grey District, applied for by the "HEART AND HAND GOLD-MINING COMPANY," William George Nicholls, Manager.

  5. A Block of Land containing Six Acres, more or less, situated on the North Beach, near Darkie's Terrace, Grey District, applied for by the "PERSEVERE STEAM SLUICING COMPANY," Josiah Thomas, Manager.

  6. A Block of Land containing Sixteen Acres and Two Roods, more or less, situated at Moonlight Creek Grey District, applied for by the "TAWERA COMPANY," E. H. Dobson, Manager.
