NELSON GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.
- That foot passengers and horsemen shall
have free right to pass along or across the
line without charge, provided that all horses
or cattle or sheep driven upon it may be
charged for as per schedule. - That no charges whatever shall be recoverable
unless it be proved to the satisfaction of the
Warden that the Tramway is in fair work-
ing order. - That this protection shall not be transferred
or assigned without the sanction, in
writing of the Warden of the district.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the
expiration of Two Months from the date hereof,
to Grant Leases for Gold Mining Purposes of the
Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-
West Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz :—
- A Block of Land containing Six Acres and
Thirty-three Perches, more or less, situated
at the Four Mile, near Charleston, applied
for by ATHANARE AUDY (Four Milo Com-
pany.) - A Block of Land containing Four Acres and
Thirty-four Perches, more or less, situated
at Victoria Terrace, near Charleston,
applied for by PATRICK COLLINS and others.
