NOTICE is hereby given that the right to a
Mining Lease over Two Hundred Acres of
Land at West Wanganui, given by the Waste
Lands Board on the 16th October, 1865, to certain
persons associated together under the title of "The
West Wanganui Coal Mining Company" has been
cancelled.

I, THE undersigned JAMES WYLDE, hereby
make application to register "The Sunrise
Quartz Mining Company," Registered, under the
provisions of "The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely
declare that the following statement is, to the best
of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:—
- The name and style of the Company is "The
Sunrise Quartz Mining Company (Registered)." - The place of operations is at the Moonlight
Reefs, No. 1, east of the Prospecting Claim,
in the Nelson South-west Goldfields. - The nominal capital of the Company is Five
Thousand Pounds, in One Thousand Shares
of Five Pounds each. - The amount already paid up is One Thousand
Five Hundred Pounds. - The name of the Manager is James Wylde.
- The office of the Company is in Tainui-street,
Greymouth. - The Names and several Residences of the
Shareholders, and the number of shares
held by each at this date, are as follows:—
