IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of two months from the date hereof, to grant Leases for Gold Mining Purposes of the Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South West Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz :β

A Block of Land containing One Acre and Three Roods, more or less, situated on the Brighton Road, applied for by JOSEPH TEWKESBURY and others (London Gold Mining and Crushing Company).

A Block of Land containing Four Acres and Three Roods, more or less, situated at Candlelight Flat, Charleston, applied for by JAMES PARSONS and others (Criterion Gold Mining Company).

A Block of Land containing Six Acres, One Rood and Twenty-eight Perches, more or less, situated at Candlelight Flat, Charleston, applied for by JOHN WOODCOCK and others.

A Block of Land containing Six Acres and Ten Perches, more or less, situated at Town Lead, Charleston, applied for by WILLIAM MORRIS and others (Queen's Own Gold Mining Company).

A Block of Land containing Four Acres Two Roods and Fourteen Perches, more or less, situated at Candlelight Flat, Charleston, applied for by THOMAS JEFFRIES and others.

A Block of Land containing Five Acres One Rood and Twenty-Four Perches, more or less, situated at Candlelight Flat, Charleston, applied for by JAMES HENDERSON and others (Deep Lead Sluicing and Gold Mining Company).

A Block of Land containing Seven Acres and Sixteen Perches, more or less, situated at Candlelight Flat, Charleston, applied for by JOHN KING and others (Charleston Gold Mining Company).

A Block of Land containing Five Acres Three Roods and Thirty-one Perches, more or less, situated at Back Lead, Charleston, applied for by DUNCAN M'LAREN, Manager Cosmopolitan Cement Crushing, and Water Company, registered.
