PROCLAMATION.
By his Honor OSWALD CURTIS, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c., &c., &c.
BY virtue and in exercise of the power and authority vested in me by "the Superintendent's Deputy Act, 1866," I, OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, do hereby appoint
HENRY ADAMS,
of the City of Nelson, Esquire, to be Deputy Superintendent of the said Province of Nelson, and as my Deputy to do, perform, and exercise all the acts, powers, and authorities which may by law be performed by such Deputy Superintendent.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Nelson, this Twenty-ninth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

PROCLAMATION.
By his Honor OSWALD CURTIS, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c., &c., &c.
WHEREAS, by "The Protection of Animals Act, 1867," it is provided that no Game shall be Hunted, Shot, Taken, or Killed in any part of the Colony until the same shall have been proclaimed as open for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, OSWALD CURTIS, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in exercise of the power and authority in me vested in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Districts of RIWAKA, MOTUEKA, PANGATOTARA, UPPER and LOWER MOUTERE, as constituted under the authority of the Education Act, shall be open for the purpose of SHOOTING PHEASANTS during the month of July next, by persons duly licensed, under the above recited Act.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Nelson, this Twenty-ninth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
