IN conformity with the provisions of the Gold-mining Lease Regulations, published in the New Zealand Gazette, November 15, of 1866, it is hereby notified that it is intended to GRANT LEASES for Gold-mining purposes on Crown Lands within the District of the Golden Bay Goldfields, specified in the following applications:β€”

Name and Address in full of Applicants. Style under which it is intended to conduct the Business. Extent of Land applied for. Minimum number of Men to be employed by the Lessee. Amount of Capital proposed to be invested. Proposed mode of working Land. The locality. Term for which Lease required. Time of commencing Operations.

William Everley Washbourne, Collingwood. W. E. Washbourne. 6 0 0 For the first three months three men. Subsequent, when in full work six men. 200 Drainage, Ground sluicing, and Raising dirt by machinery. Appo\'s Gully. Fifteen years. Immediately upon granting of lease.
David Ernest, Appo\'s Gully, Collingwood. Hit or Miss Company. 3 0 0 For the first month two men. Subsequent, when in full work three men. 300 Deep tail race and ground sluice. Between Glen Gyle & Appo\'s Gully. Fifteen years. Immediately upon granting of lease.
Duncan Corby, Duncan Corby, George Anderson, Francis Henry Montague Ellis, Glen Gyle, Collingwood. Glen Gyle Gold Mining Company Limited. 4 0 0 For the first three months four men. Subsequent, when in full work four men. 900 Hydraulic Hose and Sluicing process. Glen Gyle. Fifteen years. Immediately upon granting of lease.
