THE following Act passed by the Provincial Council, and reserved by the Superintendent of the Province of Nelson for the signification of the Governor\'s pleasure thereon, intituled

"The Amuri Reserve Act,"

having been laid before the Governor, his Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.

"Cattle Trespassing Act,"

having been laid before the Governor, his Excellency has been advised not to exercise his power of disallowance in respect of those Acts.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF WESTLAND NORTH, HOLDEN AT WESTPORT, IN BANKRUPTCY.

In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867," and in the matter of CHARLES BONNER, of Charleston, in the Province Nelson, and Colony of New Zealand, Master Mariner.

NOTICE is hereby given, that this Court did this day adjudge the above-named CHARLES BONNER Bankrupt, appoint a first meeting of his Creditors to be held, and prescribe Monday, the 14th day of September, now instant, at Eleven o\'clock in the forenoon, at the office of FRANCIS HARRIS, Esquire, Clerk of this Court, at the Court-House, at Westport, above-mentioned, as the day, hour, and place of the said meeting.

Dated this 2nd day of September, 1868.
