THE following Bill, passed by the Provincial Council, and assented to by the Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, intituled

"The Supplementary Appropriation Act," Session XVII., No. 1, 1867,

having been laid before the Governor, his Excellency has been pleased to leave the same to its operation.

"The Electoral Districts Act Amendment Act," Session XVII., No. 2, 1867,

which Bill was reserved for the signification of the Governor's pleasure thereon, having been laid before the Governor, his Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF WESTLAND, HOLDEN AT WESTPORT.

In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867."

NOTICE is hereby given that FREDERICK JONES, of Westport, in the Province of Nelson, in New Zealand, Publican, did, on Monday, the 6th day of January, 1868, file in this Court a declaration of his insolvency, pursuant to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act.

In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867."

NOTICE is hereby given that HUGH ROBERTSON, late of Queenstown, Otago, Baker, but now of the Mokihinui, in the Province of Nelson, in New Zealand, Journeyman Baker, did on Monday, the 6th day of January, 1868, file in this Court, a declaration of his insolvency, pursuant to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act.

NOTICE is hereby given, that JAMES HAYES, of Addison's Flat, near Westport, in the Province of Nelson, New Zealand, Storekeeper, did, on Monday, the 6th day of January, 1868, file, in this Court, a declaration of his insolvency, pursuant to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act.

NOTICE is hereby given, that LEONARD WHITTINGTON, late of Waipori, Otago, New Zealand, trading in co-partnership with JOHN WESLEY SCANLAN, as Publicans, now of Addison's Flat, near Westport, in the Province of Nelson, in New Zealand, Baker, did on Monday, the 6th day of January, 1868, file, in this Court, a declaration of his insolvency, pursuant to the provisions of the above-mentioned Act.
