THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it
to be notified that he has appointed
FRANK NAIRN,
Chief Inspector of Sheep for the Province of
Nelson, in the place of Charles Canning,
resigned.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF WEST-
LAND, TO BE HOLDEN AT WEST-
PORT.
In the matter of \"The Bankruptcy Act,
1867,\" and in the matter of JOHN ALFRED
LANGFORD and ANDREW MCKINNON, both
of Mokihinui, in the Province of Nelson,
in New Zealand, Storekeepers, trading
under the firm of \"Langford and Com-
pany.\"
NOTICE is hereby given, that by a Deed
bearing date the fourteenth day of
December instant, made between the said
JOHN ALFRED LANGFORD, and ANDREW
MCKINNON of the first part; and ROBERT
MILLEN, of the town of Westport, in the
said Province, merchant, a creditor of the
said JOHN ALFRED LANGFORD and ANDREW
MCKINNON, of the second part; and the
several persons whose names and seals
were to be thereunto subscribed and affixed
by themselves or their attorneys, of the third
part. The said JOHN ALFRED LANGFORD
and ANDREW MCKINNON conveyed and
assigned all and singular the real and
personal estate therein described unto the
said ROBERT MILLEN, his heirs, executors,
administrators, and assigns, upon certain
trusts for the benefit of all the joint credi-
tors of them the said JOHN ALFRED LANG-
FORD and ANDREW MCKINNON. And Notice
is hereby further given, that the said Deed
was duly executed by the said JOHN ALFRED
LANGFORD and ANDREW MCKINNON on the
said fourteenth day of December instant, in
the presence of, and the same is attested by
HARRY PITT, of Westport, a Solicitor of the
Supreme Court of New Zealand; and that
the same Deed was this day duly filed in
this Court, and the same may forthwith be
executed by all joint creditors of the said
JOHN ALFRED LANGFORD and ANDREW
MCKINNON.
Dated this twenty-first day of December,
1867.

NOTICE is hereby given that JOHN
ALFRED LANGFORD, of the City of
Nelson, in the Province of Nelson in the
Colony of New Zealand, Storekeeper, did on
Friday, the 3rd day of January, 1868, file at
the office of the Registrar of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand at Nelson, pursuant
to the 45th Section of the Bankruptcy Act,
1867, a declaration that he the said JOHN
ALFRED LANGFORD was unable to meet his
engagements with his Creditors, dated this
3rd day of January, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

DUTTON, of Charleston, in the

has this day filed in this Court a declaration
of his insolvency.

tors Acts, 1862, 1865, and 1866,\" and in
the matter of the Petition of HENRY
BRADLEY, Addison\'s Flat, near Westport,
in the Province of Nelson, a Bankrupt.
The 15th day of November, 1867.
UPON reading the petition in the above
matter, and the several affidavits filed
herein and upon hearing Mr. Kingdon of
Counsel for the said Petitioner. I ORDER
that the said petition be heard at Westport
on the 11th day of February, 1868, and that
a meeting of creditors be held at the Court
House Westport, on the 8th day of January,
1868, at the hour of eleven o\'clock in the
forenoon for the purpose of recommending
a Trustee, and the best mode of winding up
the estate.
