APPLICATIONS for LEASES, under "The Crown Lands (Nelson) Leasing Act, 1865," received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands from the 1st September to date :—

Sedgwick & Gowland... District—Pigeon Valley.
Section No. 63 of Square 2.
Contents—178 acres.
Deposit—£5 18s. 8d.

Frederick Ducker District—Wild Boar Valley.
Section No. 116 of Square 2.
Contents—165 acres.
Deposit—£5 1s. 8d.

John and Samuel Saxon ... District—Tho Graham.
For 200 acres on the south bank of the River Graham, and adjoining the land applied for by Mr. Heath.
Deposit—£6 13s. 4d.

James Newport & Henry Shailer District—The Motupiko.
Being for 800 acres in the valley of the Motupiko, lying on the east bank of the river, commencing from a line opposite Section 44, and extending up the Valley, so as to include the required quantity.
Deposit—£26 13s. 4d.

Frederick Mead & Hubert Mead District—The Motupiko.
For Section No. 32 of Square 5.
Contents—131 acres.
Deposit—£4 7s. 6d.

Benjamin Kemp... District—The west bank of the River Motueka.
For Section No. 90 of Square 3.
Contents—100 acres.
Deposit—£3 6s. 8d.

Geo. Grooby, sen. District—The Motueka Valley.
For Section No. 23 of Square 4.
Contents—218 acres.
Deposit—£7 5s. 4d.
