APPLICATIONS FOR LEASES, under "The Crown Lands (Nelson) Leasing Act, 1865," received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands during the month of August, 1867:—
John Taylor. District—The Clarke.
Bounded on the north-eastward by the Baton; on the south and south-east by the ranges; and on the west and south-west by ranges extending up the River Clarke, so as to include 200 acres.
Deposit—£6 13s. 4d.
Williams and Gilchrist. District—The Baton.
Lying on the west side of the Baton, extending from the River Skeet on the north, to Mr. Taylor's application on the south.
Contents—100 acres.
Deposit—£3 6s. 8d.
R. Lucas and R. S. Lucas. District—The Baton.
Bounded on the north by the Baton; on the south by a line of spurs of the hills being a small grassy plain about three miles from the junction of the Rivers Baton and Clarke.

Being for 100 acres lying to the S.E. of the junction of the Rivers Clarke and Baton.

ON the 30th day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven.
ON reading the petition of the said Hugh Robertson, and the several affidavits filed herein, and on hearing Mr. Keon, Counsel for the said petitioner, it is ordered that the said petition be accepted, and that the said Hugh Robertson do come up for hearing on the 25th day of November next, at the hour of Ten o'clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Nelson.
