APPLICATIONS FOR DEPASTURAGE LICENSES in accordance with the Regulations of the "Nelson Waste Lands Act, 1863," received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands, during the month of May :—

Gerard de la Pasture
District—the Amuri.
Being for all the open country to the south of his runs on the Hope.
Estimated extent, 10,000 acres.
Deposit, £15.

Kean and Hall
District—the Amuri.
Being for all the land within the following boundaries—a line half-a-mile to the westward of Gorge Creek, following the direction of stream, and a line one mile to eastward of same creek, also following direction of stream; north, by D. Kean's run (7560 acres) ; south, by a straight line due east and west, magnetic.
Estimated extent—3000 acres.
Deposit—£5.

John Daly
District—Alma.
Being for the excess of country over and above 20,000 acres applied for in Nov., 1865, by Mr. Thomas Carter, and lying between the southern boundary of Messrs. Saxton's runs, and northern boundary of the run originally granted to Dr. Robertson, and the eastern boundary of the five miles square reserve at the head of the Alma.
Estimated extent—10,000 acres.
Deposit—£15.

W. White
District—Upper Alma.
Bounded on the North by the country originally licensed to him; on the East, by the western boundary of the Government reserve; south-east by reserve; south-west by Messrs. Carter's eastern and northern boundaries.
Estimated extent—3000 acres.
Deposit—£5.

Contents—174 acres.
Deposit—£5 16s.

James Blick
District—Maungatapu.
Being for 400 acres of land outside the surveyed sections on the line of the old road.
Deposit—£13 6s. 8d.

C. A. Muntz
District—Howard.
Being for 520 acres in the Valley of the Howard.
Deposit—£17 6s. 8d.
