HIS Honor the Superintendent directs the publication of the following REGULATION, made by him under the provisions of the "Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," for regulating the landing and driving of Cattle imported into the Province of Nelson, viz:β
"On and after this date no Cattle shall be landed inside the Nelson Harbor, or driven through any of the streets of the City of Nelson, between the hours of six o\'clock a.m., and twelve o\'clock midnight, and any person guilty of any breach of this Regulation, shall be liable to a penalty of not less than Two pounds, nor more than Five pounds for every head of Cattle so landed or driven."

THE following BY-LAW, made by his Honor the Superintendent, with the advice and consent of his Executive Council, in accordance with the provisions of the 26th section of the "Nelson Scab Act, 1865," is published for general information.
All Sheep coming from any district where the 9th and 10th Sections of the Nelson Scab Act, 1865, are not in force shall, on their arrival at the boundary of the Waimen District, be driven along the Main Road to the Sheep Yard erected for their reception, near Mr. Morrison\'s, Bell Grove, Wai-iti, where they must remain until they have been inspected and a certificate, granted by the Inspector in the form of Schedule A, and if any sheep be driven past the above mentioned Yard without such certificate, the owner thereof will be liable to the penalty provided by Section 12 of the said Act.
