APPLICATIONS for DEPASTURAGE LICENSES in accordance with the Regulations of the Nelson Waste Lands Act, 1863, received by the Commissioner of Crown Lands during the month of February, 1865.
J. W. MILES—District of Collingwood.
Bounded on the east by the sections of Milnthorpe Suburban, Milnthorpe Township, and the Native Reserve; on the north by the sections in Gibbs' Town; on the west by the Township of Collingwood and the sections of sold land from Collingwood township to the junction of Appo's and Lightband's Gullies; on the south by Appo's Gully from its junction with Lightband's hut, to M'Grane's hut, Appo's Flat, and from M'Grane's hut to the outlet of the Parapara lagoon along the edge of the bush.
Estimated extent, 1,500 acres.
Deposit paid £5.
RICHARD BEEBY—A grass patch.
Bounded on all sides by forest and occupying a ridge between the rivers Wairau, Motupiko, and Motueka, to the southward of the Blue Glen Mountains.
Extent, under 3,000 acres.

ROBINSON AND RENWICK—District the Upper Wairau.
Bounded on the east for a distance of five miles from its intersection with the River Wairau, near the Top House, by the boundary line of the Provinces of Nelson and Marlborough; on the west by the River Wairau for a distance of five miles from the above intersection; on the south by a straight line joining the extremities of the eastern and western boundaries.
Extent, 3,000 acres.
