HIS Honor the Acting Superintendent directs it to be notified, that an arrangement has been entered into with the Canterbury Government for the establishment of PILOT SIGNALS at the GREY RIVER, West Coast, similar to those adopted by that Government for the Okitiki and other rivers in the Province of Canterbury.

The subjoined Pilot Signals will therefore come into use at the Grey, as soon as the Signal Staff is erected.
